We provide oil collection services. We recover, recycle, and renew used oil.

Fuel Collections recovers, recycles, and renews used oil. Our focus is on the renewal of used engine oil. Operational for over a decade under the management of Mr PD van Zyl, Fuel Collections has collected more than 14 million litres of used oil, which is a huge step toward protecting the environment.

Our goal is to double this figure in the next three to four years.

Fuel Collections collects the following: Engine oil, Gearbox oil and Hydraulic oil

Used oil are hazardous to the environment. The oil may land up in a landfill where it seeps into the ground and so contaminates the ground and groundwater. One litre of used oil can contaminate up to 1 000 000 litres of water. It remains the generators responsibility to manage and ensure the safe disposal of all waste.

Fuel Collections has structured their own bulking point with clearance and licenses from the Mangaung Municipality, where used oil is stored for processors to collect.

Environmental

Fuel Collections is registered on ROSE Foundation (Recycling Oil Saves the Environment) oil spill insurance. Should any spillage occur, quick and safe clean-up is performed to protect the environment.

Our extensive risk management system, including conducting daily safety checks and hazard assessments.
Regular safety audits to ensure we fulfill our competency requirements.
Annual regulatory safety training is attended by all staff.
Drivers carry TREM CARDS when transporting hazardous products.
Training: Convey of dangerous goods, first aid, basic fire, handling, and storage of dangerous goods for all personnel.
